Tuomas Haanperä is Partner, Board member, and head of Competition at Copenhagen Economics. He advises public and private clients on antitrust, merger, regulatory, and State aid matters before national authorities, courts, and the European Commission.

With more than 20 years of international experience, including around 12 years in senior and director roles in the UK at a major consultancy and a regulator, he brings strategic expertise to complex, national-level and multi-jurisdictional cases. He has led numerous merger analyses and advised clients on antitrust and State aid matters across Europe. Tuomas has extensive sector expertise in TMT, healthcare and regulated industries.
