WEBINAR: STATE AID AND COVID-19 – THE SWEDISH EXPERIENCE

The Temporary Framework issued by the Commission is currently being put to test in Sweden as well as in other Member States. What are the experiences so far and the main challenges ahead?

The webinar is intended to highlight the dramatic increase in State Aid initiatives across the economy in pandemic times, covering a range of perspectives:

  • Ramona Ianus, DG COMP, will outline the background and implementation of the "Temporary Framework" as seen from the Commission's viewpoint.
  • Christian Berger, Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation, will describe the support measures that have been introduced in Sweden - experiences and wishes.
  • Stefan Sagebro and Helena Linde will also shed light on both the private and municipal perspectives on the challenges that both private and public actors are facing.

The Webinar is organised by Statsstödsnätverket, a Swedish network for professionals interested in State Aid issues from legal, economic and organisational perspectives.

We have now closed for registrations.
