Martin H. Thelle

Managing Partner

Martin H. Thelle helps clients design free trade agreements that, among other things, aim at increasing overall economic welfare by reducing tariff and non-tariff barriers.

His broad international experience spans the areas of digital economy, transport and internal and external trade.

Martin excels in finding and communicating solutions to complex economic problems. He is highly specialised in both qualitative and quantitative impact assessments.

Martin’s extensive experience and expertise within these areas have led to him contributing to several studies for the European Commission. For example, he helped DG Trade of the European Commission, with analysing the expected economic impacts of free trade agreements and other trade policy instruments. The analysis resulted in DG Trade achieving a negotiation mandate for Korea, Japan, Canada and the US using our work as support.

I have extensive experience with especially the EU internal market and EU’s external trade policy
