Benjamin Barner Christiansen helps clients with issues related to the financial sector and capital markets through solid economic arguments and empirical analysis.

He particularly excels in the analysis of large quantities of data, and in conveying complex economic insights from these in a clear manner.

Benjamin has great experience working with the impact of financial sector dynamics on private sector companies. He specialises in macroeconomic policy analysis covering for instance the effects of monetary and fiscal policy on the banking, mortgage and housing markets.

Prior to joining Copenhagen Economics, Benjamin worked at the Association of Danish Mortgage Banks. Further, he has taught Macroeconomics at the University of Copenhagen.
